Software engineer since 2018. I’ve built apps for FWD Insurance in Singapore, for Homecare24, and for Kitabisa, Indonesia’s largest crowdfunding site.

Founder of TOLA Solutions, a web studio in Bali building Shopify stores, websites and business systems for brands in Australia, Europe and the UK.

I played football before I wrote code, and in 2025 I earned my AFC D coaching licence with Bali United. The pitch taught me teamwork, and I bring it to every project.

About me

I used to play football. In 2018 I switched to software, because I loved the idea of building things that solve real problems.

A 12-week bootcamp got me my first developer job, at Kitabisa. Since then I’ve built COVID-19 test booking systems in Jakarta and insurance apps for FWD in Singapore, and in 2023 I started my own company, TOLA Solutions.

Today I lead a small team in Bali and study Information Systems at BINUS in the evenings. Football is still part of my life too: in 2025 I earned my AFC D coaching licence with Bali United.

How I work with every client

Where I’ve worked

From Indonesia’s largest crowdfunding site to an insurance company in Singapore, and now my own studio.

  1. 2023–now

I started my own web studio. I lead a small team, plan projects with clients and build them, from the first call to launch.

  2. 2021–2023

    FWD Insurance

    System Analyst, Singapore

Built and looked after large insurance web apps for the Singapore market, and worked with business and product teams to turn their needs into clear plans.

  3. 2019–2021

    Homecare24

    Front-end Engineer, Jakarta

During COVID-19 I built the online booking and health-screening forms behind drive-thru rapid tests, PCR tests and vaccinations.

  4. 2019

    Freelance

    Web Developer, Jakarta

Built websites for small businesses and learned to work directly with clients.

  5. 2018–2019

    Kitabisa

    Junior Front-end Engineer, Jakarta

My first job in tech: improving features on Indonesia’s largest crowdfunding platform with the product team.

What I’m good at

Half of building something good is working well with people. The other half is knowing the tools.

With people

  • Turning ideas into a plan

You bring the vision, I bring the roadmap: what we’ll build, in what order and what it costs, in plain words.

  • Leading a small team

I run a lean team at TOLA and keep projects moving, from the first call to launch day.

  • Explaining tech simply

No jargon. You always know what’s being built and why. This version of my site is one example.

  • Teamwork and discipline

Football taught me to train hard, take feedback and play for the team.

With technology

  • What people see and tap

Websites and app screens that are fast and easy to use.

Tools: React, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, Vue.js, Nuxt.js, Tailwind CSS, Shadcn UI, Zod, HTML5 and CSS3

  • The engine behind it

Databases, logins, payments and the logic that connects them.

Tools: Node.js, Express.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Prisma, Supabase, Firebase and REST APIs

  • Online stores and websites

Shops and sites your team can update without calling a developer.

    Tools: Shopify and WordPress

  • Everyday tools

Design, version control, hosting and the cloud.

Tools: Git, GitHub, Docker, AWS, Vercel and Figma

Always learning

I changed careers through a bootcamp in 2018, and I’ve kept studying ever since.

  1. 2025–2028

    BINUS University

    Bachelor of Information Systems

    In progress

Studying online in the evenings while I work. My work experience counted towards the degree, so I’ll finish in 6 semesters instead of 8, in early 2028.

  2. 2018

    ImpactByte (now Skilvul)

    Full-stack web development bootcamp

Twelve intense weeks that started my career change. I finished with a Certificate of Excellence.

  3. 2018

    Hacktiv8

    Web development basics

My first course: HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and my first website online.
